Fifty years ago, author Stephen Cosgrove created a new kind of publishing company. He named it Serendipity Books, and it focused on inexpensive paperback books for kids that had a positive lesson and were fun to read. With beautiful, whimsical illustrations by Robin James, the books gathered a large following, eventually encompassing dozens of titles, all with memorable, beloved characters.
We're so happy to celebrate Serendipity's 50th Anniversary, with our Guest of Honor, Stephen Cosgrove! Not only can you meet the author, get signed books and photos ... Stephen is also bringing along Morgan the Unicorn and Wheedle - in person - to join the fun! And at 1:30 each day, Stephen will regale us with tales of the history of Serendipity Books, answer questions and read "Muffin Dragon" - at Storytime Cottage.
It all happens in our magical Serendipity Island area, along the main Promenade sidewalk! And don't miss the "Serendipity Takeover" of Storytime Cottage - where a different Stephen Cosgrove book will be read each hour - also located in our Serendipity Island area.

YouTube stars Simon & Simone are hosting our new Tunes & Tales Stage this year! Alter-egos of the singing/acting power couple Suzanne Slade and Jeff LaGreca, Simon & Simone will entertain audiences with their Uni-mals alphabet show, a Puff the Magic Dragon sing-along and more! They'll also take on MC duties for the stage, all day, both days! Jeff and Suzanne recently moved to Denver from New York City, and we're so happy to have them at the Unicorn Festival!
